The metropolitan Puget Sound region’s housing market is simmering down some as median sales price increases moderated in August, new data shows.
The median price of houses and condos that sold last month in King County was $425,000, or just 1.4 percent higher than in August 2013, according to a Thursday report from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS).
